New Fall and Winter Cocktail Bites

I recently discovered the apple cider from Swanson’s Mountain View Orchards in Corvallis, MT. To say I am excited would be an understatement! It is delicious and just screaming to be incorporated into a Cocktail Bite.

When the weather gets cooler, I find myself reaching for darker spirits. Bourbon is my go-to. Some new bourbon-based Cocktail Bites have been added to the menu as well, just in time for winter.

Apple Cider Moscow Mule

I love moscow mules, so I hoped that the apple cider would pair well with ginger and lime…

It does.

This Cocktail Bite is definitely tangy, but still boasts warm flavors. A touch of cinnamon and a fresh apple slice make this a great Cocktail Bite for fall.

Bourbon Apple Cider

So we have confirmed that Apple Cider is delicious. It only follows that it would be extra delicious when paired with bourbon. Some extra spices are added to this Cocktail Bite to bring some depth. Cardamom really does the trick. I make it a little decadent with a drizzle of bourbon cream caramel from King’s Cupboard of Red Lodge, MT.

Bourbon Sparkling Red Wine

If you have not tried Lambrusco yet, you must! It is a delicious sparkling red wine that can vary in shade and depth of flavor. I found a great blog post that explains the origins of Lambrusco wines and gives some suggestions for delicious (and affordable) varieties. This typically low-alcohol wine gets a nice kick in the pants from some bourbon. I add in some fresh orange juice and garnish with spiced candied orange peels.

Please let us know if you have a favorite fall or winter cocktail that you would love to see as a Cocktail Bite! I love experimenting with new flavors.
